Spirituality

“It doesn’t have to be
the blue iris, it could be
weeds in a vacant lot, or a few
small stones; just
pay attention, then patch
a few words together and don’t try
to make them elaborate, this isn’t
a contest but the doorway
into thanks,
and a silence in which
another voice may speak.”

— Mary Oliver, Thirst

Everyone is a seeker wanting wholeness and connection. There is a part of you that is already whole and healed. Holding this image in my heart, I guide you into integration and connection with your own soul and with the Source of All.

Some of my clients have never seen themselves as spiritual; some are recovering from the damage of religion gone awry. Others have a path they have fallen away from. Some are in crisis, which is presenting challenge and opportunity for new questioning. This is the time for growth. I meet you where you are and guide you in the direction of your intention, assisting you in finding your own unique path.

“Everybody is unique.
Do not compare yourself
with anybody else
lest you spoil God’s curriculum”

— Baal Shem Tov

Wholistic Psychotherapy is infused with spirituality but at the same time, practical and down to earth. The two perspectives are not divergent. Rather, I see healthy self-care, loving kindness to self and others-as well as conscious care of the earth-as efficient and effective. This is inspired by a deep sense of gratitude to a Source of Energy for the gift of a human life.

Gratitude is the fountain of healing. What are you grateful for in this moment? What are you grateful for in your body right now? These are questions that my clients and students often hear me ask.

“There are two ways to live:
You can live as if nothing is a miracle,
You can live as if everything is a miracle.”

— Albert Einstein

A student of many teachings I have much curiosity and respect for wisdom teachers from many traditions. My personal practice includes dance, poetry, art, nature and the practice of Judaism through the Renewal path.
